POPs will be presenting

Ravenscroft by Don Nigro
On a snowy night, Inspector Ruffing is called to a remote house to investigate the death of Patrick Roarke. The inspector encounters five alluring women who lead him through a bewildering labyrinth of contradictory versions of Patrick's demise and tell stories of ghosts and family secrets. You'll be frightened, amused and teased - but you will not guess the ending of this thriller!

Auditions:  8 December 7-9 PM,
Foster Performing Arts Center Auditorium

Casting Requirements:  1 man, 5 women
Inspector Ruffing:  age 30+  (English accent)
Mrs. Ravenscroft:  age 35+  (upper crust English accent)
Gillian Ravenscroft:  age late teens, early 20’s  (Same as mother)
Mrs. French:  age 30+  (Working class English/Scottish)
Marcy:   age 25-35 (American accent)
Dolly:  age 20-30 (working class English/Cockney/Irish)

Audition requirements:  Come prepared to read from the script.  The play takes place in early 20th Century England.  Noted above is the preferred accent for each part.

Audition Tips!!
Relax and breathe.
Be familiar with the production for which you are auditioning.
Practice reading out loud with expression and projection.
Wear clothes that look nice but give you freedom to move.

The Nunsense Christmas Musical

Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical is the first “TV Special” taped by the sisters in their convent basement studio for Cable Access. It stars the nuns you love plus Father Virgil and some of Mt. Saint Helen’s most talented students. It features all new songs including: Twelve Days Prior to Christmas, Santa Ain’t Comin’ To Our House, We Three Kings of Orient Are Us, and It’s Better to Give Than To Receive. This show is filled with “Nunsense” humor, some of your favorite carols, a “Secret Santa,” and an uproarious take on Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet.
